After you watch the video and read the study notes below, answer these questions here on the Fellowship Project Blog Posting link on this page:
1. What are the things that may be hindering you from receiving from God?
2. What significant prayer requests do you have? The Lord wants to talk with you about them, but you are being held back. Spend some time together discussing this.
3. Is there any unforgiveness or offense toward anyone that you need to make right within you? Is there any sin that you would like to repent from to get back on track? Is there anything that you need to surrender to God today that requires the healing touch from the Father? Pray as a group. You may silently pray about these things if you don’t feel comfortable sharing.
4. What is it that you have in your heart to do for God? He wants you to do these things. He would never work against you so that it never happens. He would never have put these things on your heart and then tease you.
5. Allow some time to meditate on the Holy Spirit. Be open to letting Him minister to your heart and receive from the Father. You may put soaking music on. Write down what you encounter and what He shows you.
It's Time to Receive
"It’s not God’s fault that things are not happening; it’s more about us receiving what He has already done for us in Heaven."
~ Dr. Kevin L. Zadai
But Christ proved God's passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!
—Romans 5:8 TPT
DISCUSSION:
In the Book of Revelation, it says that the Lamb, Jesus, was slain before the foundation of the world. His dying on the cross for us was already determined. It was in God's heart long before we existed. He provided this for us because He knew what we would need in a fallen state. We would need Him. He reveals His amazing love to us, and we are no longer lost. He found you and chose you. Jesus said, "You didn't choose me, I chose you to go forth and bear fruit —fruit that lasts." (see John 15:16). When we accept Jesus, we fall right into the plan of God. If you don't know how much God loves you, then you can't receive from Him. He has already proven His love for you because He gave you His son.
You can hear the Word of God and not have transformation until the understanding of the Word and God's love take place. You can't just say, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God" unless you comprehend it. It's not only by hearing words. There has to be experiential knowledge —an encounter with the Word of God.
o What are some ways you can engage with the Godhead to bring about a deeper understanding and comprehension of the Word? How have you encountered the Father's love where it has brought about an
understanding of the Word?
We receive from God because we understand that He is a giver. He loves to give, and He gave us Jesus. Through His Son, we get everything.
o Is there anything keeping you from receiving God's love?
You're going to get to the experiential part of it with God, where you are receiving from Him and encountering the fullness of His love.
EXPERIENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
I don't wake up in the morning hoping that God answers my prayers. I don't even think about them not being answered because I know I have it already. It's because I have the experiential knowledge of God. God is not mocked, and a man reaps what he sows (see Galatians 6:7). When I was in Heaven with God, I saw the greatest hindrance to receiving from God is our disconnection of who God is and whether we know how much He loves us.
• If you don't know how much God loves you, then you can't fully receive from Him.
• You may think God is so big and awesome, and what would He have to do with you? He has already proven that He has something to do with you because He gave His only Son.
• What has caused you not to receive His love are the wounds you carry. They are soul wounds.
• If you could have the revelation of God's love —the spirit of full acceptance and the spirit of adoption, you wouldn't have the disconnection.
• You are accepted into a family, and you acquired a name. You were on the outside before, and now you've come in. (see Romans 8:15 KJV)
o What does it mean to be adopted into the family of God? What are the benefits?
o How does God’s love for you outweigh and supersede the love here on earth?
o If there are any soul wounds, are you willing to seek the help and care you need to resolve these issues so that you may encounter freedom?
JESUS SETTLES THE REJECTION WITHIN
The soul has to do with the Psyche. It's connected to the mind, will, and emotions. You can be born again and still be hurting inside. You might feel discouraged or disappointed. It oscillates, and some days are better than others. You've had things happen, and you haven't been able to take care of them or resolve them. Jesus wants to resolve these issues within you. He addresses them in your soul. They're rejection, rebellion, and self-hatred. We can feel the same way by association when we get around other people dealing with these issues.
o What are some intentional ways to address rejection, rebellion, or self hatred within or when we are influenced by others?
We would have to go back to the original and pure truth and think about the way Jesus is. He loves people, and He always wants to fix things. He can say something to you that will completely change your mind and your heart. One word from God can change your perception, and then all of a sudden, your soul is healed. The way that you react to a situation has a lot to do with rejection. You feel rejected because you've experienced rejection. You stay in rejection because of the circumstances you encountered and the things people do and say to enforce it.
You start to have self-hate because of being rejected, and you get into rebellion because you're mad. God hasn't done anything except want to help you, but you feel like He hasn't protected you and that He wasn't there for you. God is not doing these terrible things to you in the past, present, or the future. The god of this world and his evil spirits are enforcing a curse in your life.
When I was in Heaven, Jesus showed me that because He couldn't speak to me on a certain level, I couldn't receive the knowledge and understanding from Him at the time that would circumvent the situation. I ended up going through something that I never should've gone through. I wasn't at that level to receive a conversation from God because I wasn't there.
• It has to do with what we understand and not just what we hear.
• It's not God's fault that things are not happening,
• It's about receiving from Him what He has already done for us in Heaven.
• Experiential knowledge and understanding bring us into receiving.
• Grasping the reality of Jesus Christ brings us into receiving.
Psalm 105:17-19 (NKJV): He sent a man before them—Joseph—who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him.
Let's look at Joseph's life; when he had dreams, he saw his family bowing down before him. He saw all of this as a parable in a dream. It made him look like he was going to save the world, and he would be great. He had dreams about Pharaoh and the famine, the lean cows and the fat cows, and how it all came to pass. It took years. His brothers even turned on him and sold him as a slave. He ended up in Egypt, and Joseph said, "What you meant for evil, God meant for good." (see Genesis 50:20) He helped his family and his brothers. All the dreams he had ended up coming to pass, but Joseph was severely tested. He could've questioned God for what he went through. He could've said, I got the bad end of the deal, or I thought you said I would be a ruler and my family would bow before me, but He didn't do that. His family did end up worshipping him. They needed to eat and feel safe during the famine. The Bible says, "Until the word of God came to pass, Joseph was tested.
o What are some ways you can stay strong with God through the testing? What commitments will you make while honoring God until you see the promise?
We have to get through the trauma of things that have happened to us and realize that the devil will not just sit there and let God do His thing with us. He is a devil, and he is going to try to mess things up.
Stay on course and say, "No, I heard from God, and He is faithful. He loves me, and I receive the dream God gave me. I receive that word, and I fan the flame on the prophecy, and I receive my gifts from God. "I wage war with that prophecy," Paul told Timothy. Be hopeful, and don't let go of the words spoken over you from God. Hold onto the prophesies and impartations that were given to you until they come to pass. They will come. In the meantime, allow God to minister to you and strengthen you.

PRAYER:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you. We just stretch our hands out toward the camera, and we just pray for all our friends everywhere, all over the world. Father, impart Heaven right now. Whatever it is that's hindering you, we release you now into God's goodness, release you into your destiny in the name of Jesus. May the fire of the Holy Spirit burn up all the chaff and the hindrances. Father, right now, the people are repenting and turning to you and asking you for help. They're not going to blame you for the hardship, Father. They're going to worship you, and they're going to accept the Lord. God, they're going to accept from you; your goodness as you pass on by right now. Touch all the people, heal their bodies in the name of Jesus.
